Stephen Ministry

Are you burdened? Would it help to talk?

A Stephen Minister works with you. You, who are are facing challenging family concerns. You, who were told by your doctor that cancer was found in the scan. You, who are uncertain how to face the loss of a spouse. You, who are living with issues of every day life in today's world.

You, who are seeking someone to talk to in confidence and who you can trust with anything said.

Stephen Ministry is a one-to-one lay caring ministry. Stephen Ministry congregations equip and train lay caregivers—called Stephen Ministers—to provide high-quality, confidential, Christ-centered care to people who are hurting. Your name and what you talk about is strictly confidential.

At Trinity, Stephen Ministry has been operating more than 20 years. How do you decide if a Stephen Minister is someone you would like to talk to?

  • Send a confidential email to spttrinitysm@gmail.com

  • Call the church for more information, at 910-457-6633

  • At church, look for the men and women wearing Stephen Ministry name tags.

You decide. Remember, no one should ever suffer in silence or suffer alone. Pain, challenges, concerns and hard times in life are often best handled when shared with someone you can truly trust.
