Jesus teaches us that to love God is to love others, whether they are next door or across the globe. At Trinity, you can do this in many ways! Learn more from the Missions and Service Committee chair, Hope Vickers, email him at vickers.hope@gmail.com

Hands-On Opportunities
Special Needs Population

Engage with the special needs population in our community; in the schools, the assisted living facilities and recreation events. Welcome and include people affected by disability in existing church programs. Explore church programs for parents and caregivers of those with special needs.

Community Mission Team

Focuses on providing services to those in need of basic home projects that they are unable to accomplish on their own either due to economics or capability. In the past we built ramps, cleared trees and brush after storms, basic/small project construction involving painting, carpentry, electrical, or plumbing. Volunteers do not have to be skilled craftsmen but have a helping heart to add to their helping hands.

Operation Bortherhoood

Is a mission dedicated to providing the basic furnishings for households in need. We focus on families impacted by natural disasters such as hurricanes and floods, to those impacted by fires, or families impacted by economic conditions. We repurpose furniture and furnishings down to basic kitchen utensils to the benefit of those in need being a helping hand that Christ would urge us to be. Volunteers support the mission through sorting and storing goods to picking goods up to delivering goods to families in need.

Little Free Pantry
Creation CareTeam

Our mission is to help others reduce single use plastic & use budget friendly sustainable alternatives. We educate to Refuse, Reduce, Reuse & Recycle plastic. We are designated as a Green & 5-star Ocean Friendly Establishment . We help restaurants become more sustainable, donate LED bulbs to Habitat Houses, help with local litter clean-ups, purchase boxed water for events. We bought cloth bags for use in grocery stores as well as being advocates for reducing plastic bags in the stores.

KAIROS Prison Ministry

Prison Ministry volunteers step into this darkness to hold a 3 ½ day weekend, with the majority of participants made up primarily of negative leaders within the prison. Through talks, discussions and Chapel meditations prisoners learn that they are worthy of God’s love, light and grace. That no matter who they are or what they have done, God forgives them
